ADESA Canada Corporation is Hiring a Support Specialist Near IN, IN

Support Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Claims & Centralized Operations, the Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and facilitating various support processes for KAR Global protection products.

This role will primarily help to oversee accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable and various other administrative and support responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Ensure internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all transactions as necessary.
  • Monitor, contact and address outstanding debts / payments with customers.
  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments, transactions and statements relating to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Work cross-departmentally with operations, finance, accounting, sales and collection teams.
  • Investigate, address and monitor account payable and receivable discrepancies.
  • Update and reconcile payable / receivable records across KAR operating systems.
  • Primary conduit to internal and external finance and accounting partnerships and teams.
  • Interpretation of product terms and conditions and effectively communicating resolutions to customers.
  • Primary support of claims operations team, including claims management, evaluation and customer service in accordance with agreed quality and production standards.
  • Administrative and operational support duties as assigned.
  • Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures and state / federal laws are followed at all times.
  • Support all relevant KAR Global and ADESA initiatives.

Educational Requirements & Qualifications :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Experience and strong working knowledge of MS Office suite products, including Excel.
  • Previous accounts receivable, payable and collections experience (2-3 years experience in collections, accounts receivable / payable preferred).
  • Experience with auction / VLC Front Office (titles), lot operations, arbitration and other auction operational activities is preferred.#KARJOBS
